Biography

Shelby Wardlaw medaled in three tournaments during the 2010 season. She tied for 1st place with a Tucson High School student while playing at their home course, Del Urich with a score of 41. The next tournament she medaled was at El Rio with a score of 40, and the third was at Haven Golf Club with a score of 43.

Shelby took three 2nd places as well. One was at Forty Niners, one was at Arizona National (her home course) on Oct. 13, and the third was at Del Urich.

Shelby’s 3rd places this year were at Arizona National on August 9th, and Del Lago on Oct. 11th.

Shelby received her fourth Varsity letter this year, as well as a Captain's pin to place on her letter.

In 2010 Shelby Wardlaw received the award for Best Senior. During her four years on the Sabino Golf Team Shelby has been honored as Best Newcomer, Best Underclassman, and Best Senior. She was also awarded Most Improved player in the 2008 season.

In 2009 Shelby received her 4A Conference State Medal.

On June 30th, 2008 Shelby medaled in the Omni Tucson National Southwest Section PGA Tournament.

Shelby played her first tournament on June 2-3 of 2003 at Rolling Hills Golf Course when she was ten years old and won first place.

Shelby Wardlaw was points Leader of the Girls Flight in 2003 and made Honorable Mention in All Region.

Shelby finished her senior year with an honorable mention in all Region again.
